The next time you enter your favorite park and grab a FASTPASS, make sure that you arrive at the attraction on time.
Disney Parks are testing “X-Pass”, which is the newest offering for attractions. Still in its early stages of operation, “X-Pass” will run in addition to FASTPASS.
“X-Pass” will enable guests to pre-book time slots during which they can ride the popular attractions without having to wait in long lines. Being tested for guests that are staying in the Deluxe resorts. Not sure if this will be a mainstay in all resorts or only for these resorts.
Cast members have been cracking down and turning away guests who get to the attraction late.
FASTPASS stations now offer a warning that informs guests that they must return to the attraction before the end of their window of time.
Speculation is that the FASTPASS crackdown is so that they can integrate the “X-Pass”.
As of now, nothing has been confirmed as far as the “X-Pass” specifics.
